Her real name was Harleen Quinzel and she graduated from college with a degree in psychology. She was always fascinated with the criminal and she went to many asylums for the criminally insane. She had a crush on one of her patients at Arkham Asylum, the last Asylum she would work at as a doctor with the name of Harleen Quinzel. The patient she had a crush on was the Joker himself. Their twisted love blossomed as one day, she and the Joker would escape from Arkham. Joker brought Harleen to a chemical factory and he pushed Harleen in the chemical chamber. These toxins may very well be the same toxins that made the Joker who he is today. Once out of that chamber, Harleen became almost as insane as the Joker and her memory became a mess. She can only remember a few pieces of her past before falling in there. She now goes by Harley Quinn and assisted the Joker in many of his schemes. Harley was obsessed with the Joker and names him "Mr. J" for short. As for the Joker, he didn't care much for Harley as time went on. Their love was abusive, Joker constantly hit her or almost kills her through the years and Harley still was attached to him by the hip. The time finally came when Poison Ivy, who would become her best friend for life in the future would help Harley leave the Joker. Harley did put that part of her past behind her and for a while, she wasn't sure what she could do. But she eventually decided to be an anti-hero with charm and a cheery-deranged outlook on life. She was also founder of two superteams, that being; the Suicide Squad and the Gotham City Sirens Harley possesses many weapons such as melees, various firearms and she is incredibly fast and agile. She is also immune to various kinds of toxins and she is a great emotional manipulator and is surprisingly intelligent. She mostly operates around Gotham
