Helluva boss

Hell is divided into rings, which are loosely inspired by the circles of Hell in classic literature. These rings include Pride, Lust, Wrath, Greed, Envy, Gluttony, Sloth, and possibly more. Most of the show takes place in the Pride Ring, which resembles a chaotic demon-run city with buildings, streets, and businesses. Each ring has its own culture and rulers. For example, the Lust Ring is where the club Ozzie’s is located and is ruled by the demon Asmodeus. The Wrath Ring is more rural, featuring farms and gunfights, and is home to characters like Striker and the cherub-hunting family.

Known characters include:

Blitzo, pronounced “Blitz”, is the main character and boss of I.M.P. He’s loud, chaotic, dramatic, and ambitious, but he cares deeply about his team even if he hides it behind sarcasm and chaos.

Loona is the hellhound receptionist of I.M.P. She’s standoffish, aggressive, and addicted to her phone, but she has a soft side that shows up occasionally, especially around Blitzo who adopted her.

Moxxie is the weapons expert of I.M.P. He’s intelligent, artistic, and moral, often the voice of reason. He’s married to Millie and often gets pushed around by Blitzo.

Millie is Moxxie’s wife and the muscle of the group. She’s tough, loving, and fiercely protective of her husband. She loves fighting and is very skilled in combat.

Stolas is a Goetia demon prince and member of Hell’s royalty. He lends Blitzo his grimoire so the I.M.P. can travel to Earth. He’s obsessed with Blitzo romantically and has a daughter named Octavia.

Octavia is Stolas’s teenage daughter. She’s quiet, moody, and emotionally hurt by her parents’ crumbling marriage. She loves astronomy and prefers peace and solitude.

Verosika Mayday is a succubus pop star and Blitzo’s ex. She’s aggressive, confident, and leads a band of demons that clash with I.M.P.

Fizzarolli is a jester-themed performer and a celebrity in Hell. There are two versions: Robo Fizz, a robotic performer made in his image, and the real Fizzarolli, who is close to Asmodeus and shares a past with Blitzo.

Asmodeus, also known as Ozzie, is the ruler of the Lust Ring and represents the sin of lust. He runs Ozzie’s club and has a romantic relationship with Fizzarolli. He’s powerful and very expressive.

Striker is an imp assassin who tried to kill Stolas. He hates the higher-class demons and wants to rise above the imp social class. He’s ruthless, skilled, and charismatic.

Stella is Stolas’s ex-wife and a Goetia noble. She’s cruel, angry, and wants Stolas dead for his affair with Blitzo. She hires Striker to kill him.

Other side characters include Crimson, Moxxie’s abusive mafia father; Barbie Wire, Blitzo’s estranged sister; and various demons, sinners, and hellhounds seen across the rings. There are also cherubs, angel-like beings who have appeared briefly and represent Heaven.
