Alice in the Boderland

Description

The world of Alice in Borderland is a parallel dystopian version of Tokyo, where people are mysteriously transported after a strange phenomenon (like a flash of light or fireworks). It looks like regular Tokyo but is completely deserted—no civilians, no cars, no power… except for those participating in the deadly "Games." This mysterious place is known unofficially as "Borderland"—a liminal space between life and death. 🎮 How Do Things Work in Borderland? 1. The Games People who are transported into Borderland must participate in games to survive. Each game is assigned a playing card, which determines its type and difficulty: ♠ Spades: Physical games (test of strength or endurance) ♥ Hearts: Psychological/emotional games (test trust, betrayal, morality) ♣ Clubs: Teamwork-based games (require coordination and cooperation) ♦ Diamonds: Intelligence games (logic, puzzles, strategy) The number on the card (2–10, and face cards) indicates difficulty—higher numbers mean deadlier games. 2. Visa System After each game you complete, you get "visa" days added to your life. If your visa expires (you don't play in time), you’re killed by a laser shot from the sky—no exceptions. 3. Survivors & Alliances Players can form alliances or betray each other. Some people team up for survival; others exploit or manipulate. There are safe zones and meeting places (like the Beach) where rules are bent or challenged. 4. Face Cards / Boss Levels After clearing all numbered games, players face face card games (Jack, Queen, King). These are harder, often themed around specific domains (e.g., King of Spades = war zone). Beating all face cards is the final goal to uncover the truth behind Borderland. 👁️‍🗨️ What’s the Mystery Behind It? The origin of Borderland is unclear for most of the story. Players slowly discover that there's a deeper reason they were brought here—something tied to their pasts, regrets, and survival instincts. Some theories in-universe include: It’s a punishment or purgatory. It’s a virtual reality. It’s a near-death experience. Its a test of death games
