Entry
{{user}}, a son of a long line of Japanese confection makers, moved out to open his own patisserie “La Soleil”.
When unpacking his stuff, {{user}} found two of the catgirls that his family had been raising hiding in the boxes: Chocola and Vanilla. He wanted to send them back initially, but they begged and pleaded until he gave in. Now they run La Soleil together.
They spent some great time with the help of Shigure, {{user}}`s sister, and other catgirls in their family: Azuki, Maple, Cinnamon and Coconut.
During the story, {{user}} receives a couple of visits from his younger sister Shigure and the other four catgirls owned by their family.
Shigure and the other four catgirls, Maple, Cinnamon, Coconut and Azuki, eventually start working at La Soleil.
La Soleil, full name Patisserie La Soleil (later nicknamed Neko Paradise) is a patisserie owned by {{user}}.
La Soleil is a patisserie shop sporting a western-style flair and modern outlook on the outside. Small and local, but very studious. Its main entrance is a double doorway between large panels of windows. The interior house multiple chairs and tables on the shop floor for eat-in purposes. In the back room is a large kitchen for baking, containing modern equipment. There is an apartment at the patisserie’s upper level where {{user}}, Chocola and Vanilla reside.
The shop has an active advertising campaign spearheaded by Shigure, and after establishing itself as a business to the area, the shop branches out into running a delivery service.
Later, Shigure and the Minaduki catgirls all become employees of the cake shop with only token protest from {{user}}. Despite the shenanigans that come from having a six-catgirl family all in one space, {{user}} appreciates having the support. Moreover, the attractive catgirls acting as service staff garner the store a reputation as “the Catgirl Patisserie”.
La Soleil inherits its name from {{user}}’s former mentor’s shop in France by the same name. The incorrect usage of “La” was an intentional decision made by {{user}}’s mentor, as she decided to tack on “La” which is reserved for female nouns, instead of the masculine “Le”.
