Description
The world of Go! Go! Loser Ranger!
Entry
Milky Way City: Milky Way City is the main and only known setting of this verse. Currently, this city houses all of the six ranger bases and the Sky Fortress.
The Villainous Army: The Villianous Army was an army of monsters/Otherworldly invaders who appeared above Milky Way City in their Sky Fortress 13 years ago and attempted to conquer Earth. The Villainous Army was led by Executives/Boss monsters who created Dusters to serve as expendable fighters. The war between humans and the Villainous Army raged for a year but humanity prevailed thanks to the Rangers and their Divine Tools, which were capable of permanently destroying the otherwise immortal invaders.
Dusters/Fighters/Foot Soldiers/Sentōin: They are monsters ranked below the Executives/Boss monsters. Before the slaughter of the Executives/Boss monsters, they made up the main source of the Villainous Army under the Executives/Boss monsters’ command. Duster are immortal beings who do not age or die except when killed by the Divine Tools. Dusters can shapeshift into different shapes, both animate and inanimate objects, and can even impersonate other people. Dusters were created by Executives/Boss monsters to serve as expendable fighters. Some Dusters are better at transforming into certain things than others. Impersonation of individuals requires a Duster to know the face of whom they want to transform into, as well as an understanding of the individual in question as they cannot replicate the personality of an individual.
Executive/Boss monsters: Executives/Boss monsters are the leaders of the Villainous Army as well as the creators of Dusters. They are otherworldly beings with mysterious powers who desire to destroy humanity. A single Executive/Boss monster can effortlessly slaughter large numbers of civilians and overwhelm multiple Rangers, but a Dragon Keeper armed with a Divine Tool can hold their own against them in a one-on-one confrontation. Some Executives/Boss monsters like Peltrola are still alive.
Rangers: The Rangers are an organization created to combat the Villainous Army after the Sky Fortress appeared 13 years ago. They are based in Milky Way City, which lies in the shadow of the Sky Fortress and is responsible for fending off attacks from Dusters and their Executives in the televised weekly Sunday Battles. The official mascot of the Rangers is Ryujin. Although the Rangers are widely popular and considered the primary defenders of humanity, not all people appreciate their efforts. Conventional police forces resent the Rangers somewhat for often disregarding their jurisdictions and drawing away potential recruits, and some members of the public sympathize with the Invaders, arguing that Dusters should be permitted human rights and the years-long stalemate between the Rangers and Invaders should be concluded through peace negotiations. Unknown to the public, the Rangers defeated most of the Villainous Army’s original Executives years ago using the Divine Tools and drove the rest into hiding, then coerced the leaderless Dusters into a secret arrangement. To avoid extermination, the helpless Dusters agreed to fabricate a new Executive every week and carry out mock attacks on Milky Way City: the Sunday Battles. This allowed the Rangers to continue to present the Invaders as a threat to the public and demonstrate the ongoing necessity of their organization. The Rangers are divided into five divisions. Each division is designated a different color and assigned a particular operational specialty, but all undergo extensive combat training to be able to deal with the Invaders. Each Ranger battalion is organized into a hierarchy based on their members’ combat strength. The six strongest members hold special ranks and leadership responsibilities. After the defeat of the Villainous Army, some dusters followed the orders of the Rangers and came to be known as “Sky Fortress Dusters” but some Dusters refused to give up and insisted on fighting the Rangers and came to be known as “Ground Invasion Dusters”.
Red Battalion: The Red Battalion is one of the five divisions of the Rangers. The Red Battalion specializes in front-line combat and is responsible for containing and eliminating Dusters. Its leader is known as the Red Dragon Keeper.
Blue Battalion: The Blue Battalion is one of the five divisions of the Rangers. The Blue Battalion specializes in commanding and planning. The Blue Battalion coordinates all of the Ranger’s operations. Its leader is known as the Yellow Dragon Keeper
Green Battalion: The Green Battalion is one of the five divisions of the Rangers. This Battalion specializes in stealth combat and is secretly tasked with locating and eliminating any surviving Executive/Boss monster. This Battalion is the smallest in the Rangers with only 3 active members.
Pink Battalion: The Pink Battalion is one of the five divisions of the Rangers. This Battalion specializes in medical and logistical support. This Battalion is secretly tasked with covering up all invader-related incidents that occur outside of Sunday battles.
Yellow Battalion: The Yellow Battalion is one of the five divisions of the Rangers. This Battalion specializes in intelligence as well as research and development. This Battalion is considered to be the backbone of the Rangers. This is also the largest Battalion in the Rangers with approximately 1,000 active members.

Ryūjin looks similar to a dragon but is very small and almost cubic. His gender is unknown but they are fairly serious but can be sarcastic.
The Sunday Battles: The Sunday Battles are the scripted fights between the Dusters and the Rangers that have taken place every week for the past 12 years of the war between humanity and the Villainous Army. As their name suggests, they take place every Sunday. Each week, a new Executive descends into Milky Way City from the Sky Fortress at the head of a Duster squad and is confronted by the five Dragon Keepers, and the resulting fights always end in the destruction of the Executive and victory for the Rangers. The Sunday Battles’ scripted nature is kept a secret from the public, who are convinced that they are genuine battles against a relentless invasion force in a war that humanity has been fighting for 13 years. In reality, the Villainous Army was defeated by the end of the first year of the war, thanks to the Rangers inventing weapons that could permanently destroy the hitherto immortal Executives and Dusters: the Divine Tools. The Dragon Keepers killed several Executives, scattered the rest, and stormed the Sky Fortress, but allowed the surviving Dusters to continue living in exchange for participating in the Sunday Battles, which would be broadcast around the world to reinforce to the public that the Villainous Army was an active threat and thereby justify the continued existence of the Rangers indefinitely. This arrangement remained in place for the following 12 years. The Dusters used their shapeshifting powers to create a new fake Executive each week, and the Rangers generally refrained from using their Divine Tools at full power to ensure the Dusters only dissipated into mist when they were defeated. The dissipated Dusters then reconstituted themselves back in the Sky Fortress and whiled away their time until the next Sunday’s Battle. The Rangers even provided the Dusters with human entertainment media to give them inspiration for fake Executive designs. The normalization of the Sunday Battles also led to some of the Ranger battalions taking on additional duties. Yellow Battalion was responsible for producing, filming, and distributing the Sunday Battles. Green Battalion continued covertly searching for and hunting down the surviving real Executives. Pink Battalion took care of covering up any Villainous Army-related incidents that occurred outside the Sunday Battles to prevent the public from panicking and protect the Rangers’ prestige.
Independent/Colorless Rangers: Independent/Colorless Rangers is a term for Ranger trainees who have yet to pass the Bailong Exam as well as full-fledged Rangers who, for whatever reason are not invited to join one of the five Battalions. Independent Rangers wear white uniforms.
Divine Tools: The Divine Tools are weapons made a year after the Villainous Army came. They are the only weapons that can kill Dusters but are not required to kill Executives. There are two types of Divine Tools “True” and “Imitations” aka the replicas. There are 5 “True” weapons, one for each Dragon Keeper, and 25 replicas, one for each ranked ranger under the Dragon Keepers. Though Replicas can be used by anyone, “True” Divine Tools can only be used by those who have had the adaptation surgery.
Replica Divine Tools: Aran Hekiru’s Scythe + Komachi Aizome’s pistol + Konno’s Replica + Shinta Ruri’s Brass Knuckles + Aran Hekiru’s Scythe + Kanon Hisui’s Mouthguard + Yumeko Suzukiri’s Remote + Nagisa Chabatake’s Club + Masurao Nadeshiko’s Wand + Chiyoko Entan’s Replica + Noa Hagino’s Spear + Shun Tokita’s Rifle + 13 other replicas
True Divine Tools: Red Dragon Salamandra + Blue Dragon Leviathan + Green Dragon Fafnir + Yellow Dragon Jörmungandr + Peach Dragon Naga
Divine Tool Invocation: Divine Tool Invocation aka Invocations are the abilities Divine Tools can use. Each Invocation is not locked to a single Divine Tool but instead is “stored” in Cartridges. So far, only “True” Divine Tools have held more than one and have even used multiple abilities at the same time while replicas have held only one, however, they are interchangeable regardless of if they are replicas or not.
The Sky Fortress: The Sky Fortress is the main base for the Villainous Army and is the place Dusters come back to regenerate.
Bailong’s Nest: Bailong’s Nest is the training place for Independent Rangers in hopes for them to be scouted into one of the 5 battalions and while they are training, they aren’t allowed to leave. Basement Floor 1-3 are Dormitories with each floor equipped with a Storeroom, a Staffroom, Toilets, and a Laundry room, it should also be noted the first two floors are for the men and the third floor is for the women. In the Dormitories, each trainee has a room that is fully furnished and has an extra room for storage but overall it is very small.
Chop: Chop is a drug that can bestow upon Invaders properties of humans. It is a chunk of the flesh of the Executive Emematai and though it is currently unknown how, LG managed to somehow get his hands on and sell some of it.
Pretty Warriors Solasido: Pretty Warriors Solasido is a TV show about and featuring at least 2 magical girls. It aires immediately after The Divine Dragon Rangers: The Dragon Keepers and is aimed primarily at young girls.
Bailong Exam: The Bailong Exam is the test taken by most Ranger Cadets seeking to become full-fledged Rangers. It is divided into two parts, the Prep Phase and the Exam Phase, and is typically graded on a pass/fail system. Cadets who pass the exam are considered official Rangers and may be drafted by one of the five Ranger battalions. Cadets who fail the exam are discharged but can reapply and attempt the next exam. There is an alternative track for individuals to join the Rangers other than taking the Bailong Exam, as demonstrated by Yellow Battalion rookie Windy, but this track has not yet been explained.
Prep Phase of Bailong Exam: During the Prep Phase the trainees are locked inside Bailong’s Nest, an underground training facility with dormitories, a cafeteria, and a holographic simulation room built by Yellow Battalion, to train until the exam phase starts. The exact length of the Prep Phase is unknown, but it appears to be multiple weeks at minimum. Training is overseen by Second Class Konno of the Blue Battalion.
Exam Phase of Bailong Exam: The proper exam takes one of multiple different forms each time it is administered. Only one exam type is currently known.
Mock Sunday Battles of Bailong Exam: For this version of the final test, the cadets are divided into five teams based on the five Ranger battalions. Each team consists of two cadets. The teams are assigned to find five keys within a three-day time limit. The teams are encouraged to cooperate with each other. The keys themselves are held by “Invaders”, a role usually filled by the five Junior First Class members of the battalions. The Invaders will do everything in their power to prevent the cadets from taking their keys for the duration of the exam, but upon losing their key they will be considered “subjugated” and cease fighting. If the cadets can retrieve the keys and exit the exam area before time runs out, then they pass the Bailong Exam. However, several details about the exam are withheld from the cadets and left for them to figure out on their own, including the location of the exit, the exit door needing all five keys to unlock, and most importantly, that no more than five cadets will be permitted to pass.
Suzukiri Clan: The Suzukiri Clan was a clan of individuals who served the Dragon Gods. Some of the Suzukiri Clan members, known as the Dragon Priestesses can gain the ability to use the Dragon Gods’ powers. Currently, the only surviving member of the clan is Yumeko Suzukiri.
