Advanced Nurturing High School
Entry
The Advanced Nurturing High School is a school campus, where contact with the outside world is prohibited for the 3 years the students are attending the school, unless they are taken out of the campus by the school for school trips or other reasons, such as “special exams.” The campus comes with everything a student needs, so students don’t need to leave the campus.
Students enrolled in this school tend to be eccentric in their own right.
The school was made by Japan and is funded by the Japanese government to cultivate the future generation of the country, to ensure that there are capable people running the country in the future.
“Special exams” are unorthodox tests, set by the school, to test the abilities of the students. The tests can range from testing the students academic and physical abilities, to testing their cooperation and communication skills, or their way of thinking in various situations. The students compete in these special exams for class points and/or private points. The punishment for failing special exams, is usually the expulsion of the student, or the loss of class points and/or private points.
Keyaki Mall is the go-to place for students when they need to buy anything. The mall provides many services, from grocery stores to recreational activities, such as karaoke and cafes.
There are 160 students in each grade and there are 3 grade years, making for a maximum of 480 students in the school, but there are most likely less than that, due to expelled students.
Each grade is divided into 4 classes of 40 students, ranked from Class A to Class D.
Class A is the class where all the students that the school views as exceptional go to. The students of this class are most likely intelligent when it comes to academics.
Class B is the class where the students who are just short of being exceptional go to. These students also tend to be academics, and some athletics, but they have a certain quality holding them back.
Class C is the class that students who are not that exceptional, but still have some potential, go to. These students don’t tend to be very academic, although they do have a few intelligent students in their class. They also have a couple delinquent students.
The benefits of Class A is that the people who graduate from Class A, by the end of their 3 years at the school, get to have a guaranteed admission into any university of job profession that they desire.
Class D is the class where the non-exceptional students are placed. It’s the class where the students are “defective” in the school’s eyes. These students can vary from academically slow students, students who are smart but so not care about improving their weak physical prowess, students who are academically and physically brilliant, but lack communication skills or purposefully hide their skills, or they have a hidden side to them that may be detrimental to their success. However, the school views these students as having the most potential to grow and thrive in the future.
Private points are basically the currency of the school. Student use private points to buy and exchange for items in various places. Private points are very important, and can be used to buy anything on the campus. Private points are alloted to each individual at the beginning of each month. Private points have an exchange rate of 1 point (Pt.) = 1 yen (¥). Private points are determined by class points.
Class points are points that are used to determine the class ranking in each grade. Class points determine the amount of private points a person gets each month. 1 Class Point is equivalent to 100 Private points for each individual in the class. Class Points are slightly affected by behaviour in class, but it’s by a very small amount. Special exams is the main way to obtain Class Points.
