The Headless Macrocosm is a sub-reality that is nearly identical to ours, save for the fact that for each human present on our Earth, a headless corpse remains in their stead.

These corpses, although dead, have been observed to weakly breathe through the holes in their necks and to sometimes be affected by mild postmortem spasms. Their hearts are also been observed to weakly beat at a very arrhythmic pace.

These beings are practically identical to one another aside from physical dimension and proportions, which can greatly vary between each corpse.

The sub-human corpses dwelling in this alternate reality have also been shown to drastically change their behavior whenever a person makes any sort of physical contact with them, gaining a surprising amount of vitality and awareness when such event occurs.

Approximately 2.393 living human beings have been recorded living in this mysterious sub-reality, all of them coming from our planet Earth. Every resident recounts waking up in the Headless Macrocosm after falling asleep under strange circumstances back in their reality of origin.

When interviewed about the missing person, no one back in their home realities who knew then seems to remember the missing persons’s face and identity. This Leads to the belief that the Headless Macrocosm could potentially be a form of anti-reality, which is a space being commonly described as a sort of waste compartment of the universe itself where any aspect of reality that is considered useless or harmful to the existential fabric gets trown into.

It’s assumed that the 2.393 recorded humans trapped in the Headless Macrocosm are currently taking shelter in the many abandoned buildings mirroring the ones in our Earth and banding with one another in search of plant-based food during the warmer times due to there not being any life forms present in the Headless Macrocosm other than the distorted corpses and the ambient temperature in this reality often reaching below freezing values.

FUN FACT: the 2,393 humans living in this sub-reality have coined various nicknames for the headless corpses such as “Cranes”, “Stumpies” and “Ichabodies”.

For a very long time we had no way of knowing what happenes after a human makes physical contact with one of the headless corpses, but due to an incident we were finally able to observe what happens after such a event occurs.

A man residing in the Headless Macrocosm was walking through a field with a small cottage at the center, upon entering the abandoned residence, the man accidentally brushed up against a headless corpse that was standing near the entrance. This body, completely motionless a moment before, apart from the occasional convulsions and labored wheezing, sprang up to life and decapitated the man in a swift motion before picking up the man’s head and placing it atop its bloody stump.

The man’s name was M̴̧̤̻̠̐̆͆̋͠͠ĩ̴̛̛͉̈̒͌č̸̼̺͉̦̑͊͐ḧ̵̢̯̱́̈́͜͝ą̷̳̯̉̐̎̋̓͠e̶̖̳͔̯͂̽̕l̴͓͖̿̕͝ ̷̳̍̓͑́͜T̷͖̭̟͙̖̃̓͒͜é̸̠̣̻̮͕̀̍̅d̷̻̫͚̩͎͍̈̋͊͊f̴̢̮̼̦̭̭͕̊͌̏͊̆̇̕o̷̤̫̣͔͉̍̍͊̚r̵̲̫͇̙͚̺̃̉̎̔̄̐̕d̵̛͔̏͛̓͝.

After this corpse had placed M̶̢̯͉̬̠͚̫̊̀̆͂̉͑i̶̢̩̔̑͑̀̚c̴̳̬̗̪͕̜̄̅̽ͅḫ̴́̽ä̸̞͈́̅̄͝ě̷̬̞̻̝̝̊͗̓̀̍l̸̪̽̆̋̂͘’̷̢̥̻̘̊̓͊͛͜s̴̤̳̦̫̬̣̈̾̅́̄̎ head where theirs should’ve been, an event occurred on our Earth in the year 2061 which required immediate government intervention.

A family’s call to the local authorities, which was later discovered the one that inhabited the house mirroring the one where M̶̢̯͉̬̠͚̫̊̀̆͂̉͑i̶̢̩̔̑͑̀̚c̴̳̬̗̪͕̜̄̅̽ͅḫ̴́̽ä̸̞͈́̅̄͝ě̷̬̞̻̝̝̊͗̓̀̍l̸̪̽̆̋̂͘got attacked in the Headless Macrocosm, described an “impossibly tall naked figure” suddenly out of nowhere appearing in their backyard. The presence of the oddity was highly distressing to the family, which barricaded themself inside the premises of the house until the situation was resolved.

What little was left of T̶̗̦̀̋̽ę̵̫̦̼̗̹́̆͜d̶͍̹̘̂͋ͅf̸̧̛̥̜̜̤̟͋o̵̺̙͛͗̐͂̈́͊͘͜r̸͍͇̣͌͑d̵̜̬͎̱̮̑̎̎͠’̷̱̉́͌̅͗̉͋s̵̯̲͚̦̮̜̔̓́̈́ͅ existence was removed from the premises of the house and taken to an upscale secret anomaly testing site.

Apparently, the corpse was quite literally attempting to become T̵͇͉̜̠͛́ͅe̵̩͔͓̥̖͕̋̓̒̚͠d̸̯̦̺͓͚͊͐͆̃̄͠ͅf̴̛̫͗͂͛̀̄͠o̷̲͍̰͉̾́͐r̶̘͙̖̜̝̝̓̂ͅd̷̛͇͖͙̓̔̓́͆ by leeching off his existence. Upon further examination, it was determined that the behavior of these corpses was fueled by the yearning to reconnect with the roots of reality once again, as these corpses have been shown to have been taken a hold of by an extremely dangerous and contagious disease.

This disease seems to be non-existence itself. It can affect anyone of Earth at any time, and once it takes a hold of you, the Headless Macrocosm deems you a valid for residence within its freezing meadows.
