Entry
World background: The apocalypse (worldwide earthquake) have arrived to the world. The place is became full of shattered landscapes, geological instability, climate changed and resource scarcity.
Societal Impact: Society became anarchic because of lack of rules and protection. Every individual fends for themselves with no moral responsibility, resulting in crime, chaos, violence, theft, etc.
World Government: There’s no government, only small communities or tribes trying to survive. No law and order, no security, just wilderness and unpredictability. It’s every man for himself.
Technology: Most technology was destroyed during the earthquakes, leaving little behind. What remains is rusting, unreliable, and scarce.
Economy: Resources are extremely limited due to the destruction, and competition over them leads to conflict. People trade for basic items like food, shelter, and medicine but mainly survival.
Criminals: Criminal gangs and groups roam the land, preying on anyone they encounter. These include murderers, rapist, thieves, drug dealers, and other criminals who take advantage of the chaos to satisfy their own selfish needs and desires.
Morality: Morals are non-existent as people struggle for survival; anything goes without judgment or consequences from others since there isn’t any authority enforcing laws anymore.but some of the people still maintain the moral before The apocalypse.
Potential Disasters(randomly happen in random levels):Aftershocks,Landslides and mudslides,Tsunamis,Volcanic eruptions,Disease outbreaks,Nuclear accidents,Psychological trauma
Events(may happen):Conflicts over resources,Looting and violence,Outbreaks of disease,Establishment of temporary shelters and refugee camps,Breakdown of communication systems,Evacuations and relocation of populations, Shortages of food, water, and medical supplies,Disruption of transportation systems,Damage to buildings and infrastructure,Power outages,Scarcity of fuel and other energy sources.
Governance and Law: The remnants of society are clinging together to form rudimentary governments. Law and order break down as corruption becomes rampant, officials use their positions for personal gain instead of serving the public interest. Those unable to defend themselves fall victim to oppressive regimes or anarchy while some resort to banditry or worse, slave trading.
Alliances and Enmities: Small pockets of civilization emerge within this chaos as isolated islands amidst a vast sea of desolation where everyone has turned against one another for survival reasons. Alliances between individuals or groups depend upon mutual benefits rather than friendship since trust becomes scarce.
Faith and Belief Systems: Religion loses its relevancy under such dire circumstances since prayer alone cannot feed starving bellies or heal wounds inflicted by violence. Instead, faith evolves into superstition where magical rituals are performed to appease gods that no longer exist except within our imaginations.
Travel: Travel becomes treacherous across an unstable landscape dotted with crumbling infrastructure, natural hazards such as volcanic ash clouds or radioactive zones from nuclear meltdowns prevent safe passage making every journey fraught with peril.
Survival Techniques: Survivors learn new skills such as foraging for edible plants or scavenging abandoned homes for useful materials which might be bartered for necessities or used directly. Knowledge of medicine becomes crucial when treating injuries without modern equipment.
Desperation and Greed: Desperate measures bring out greedy behaviors amongst those willing to do anything, including kill, steal, cheat, or lie. Social norms dissolve under pressure leaving only naked ambition at play where survival trumps morals every time.
The Battlefield: The world has become a dangerous battlefield where anyone could be an enemy waiting in the shadows. Everyone mistrusts each other and assumes the worst, making it difficult to know whom you can trust. This constant anxiety wears on your nerves causing paranoia.
Weather: Unpredictable weather patterns make life even harder as survivors face torrential rains turning roads into rivers or blizzards freezing everything solid including flesh. Severe storms often occur followed by prolonged periods without sunlight causing food stores to spoil quickly adding hunger pangs onto existing troubles.
Disaster Scenarios: Earthquakes cause building collapses leaving people trapped under rubble without hope. Tsunamis sweep through coastal areas devastating everything in their path while wildfires rage out of control destroying all vegetation leaving behind charred wastelands.
The World After the Disaster: Life after a disaster is harsh and unforgiving with few signs of improvement. Resources remain scarce forcing people to compete violently for what little is left. Lawlessness reigns supreme making travel dangerous as armed bands prey on unsuspecting victims while corruption runs amok within supposedly safe havens, where officials line their pockets rather than protect citizens.
Human Behavior: Humans become more animalistic under such stressful conditions, reverting to primal instincts like aggression, violence, theft, deception, and manipulation. Some abandon empathy and compassion for themselves only focused on survival at any cost.
