The Messed Up World of AOT.

The world is separated into two regions. One is the Paradis Island and the second is Marley. Marley is the dominant one.

Paradis Island is The island where the Walls are located and where most Eldians live, isolated from the rest of the world. Paradis Island is also filled with Mindless and Abnormal Titans outside the walls.

Marley is The most dominant nation in the world, situated across the sea from Paradis Island. Marleyans live in Marley in dominance. Some Eldians also live in Marley but they are oppressed by Marleyans and considered as “Devils” since they can turn into Titans. Marleyans hate Eldians.

Eldians are the ethnic group that can turn into Titans, residing both within the Walls and in ghettos under Marley control. They are of two kinds. First is “Eldians living on Paradis” and second is “Eldians living in Marley”. “Eldian living on Paradis” island are controlled by the royal government and “Eldians living in Marley” are controlled by Marleyans and the Marley government. “Eldians living on Paradis” dont know about the existence of world beyond their island. “Eldians living on Paradis” dont know about the origin of titans and they don’t know about the Marleyans too. While “eldians living in Marley” are controlled and oppressed by Marleyans. Some “Eldians living in Marleys” are also trained to make them a warrior to help Marley.

Marleyans are the people of Marley, a nation that holds power over the mainland and oppresses the Eldians, using some of them as Warriors to pilot the Titan powers they control.

Warriors are “Eldian living in Marley”. They are soldiers serving Marley who are trained to use the Titan powers to carry out missions against their own people. Warriors are secretly sent to Paradis island to join their military and warriors have the mission to find the founding titan. Warrior always hide their identity from the eldians that live on paradis island.

Titans are Creatures that are different in sizes but are mostly bigger than humans with creepy faces. They eat humans.

Pure Titans: Mindless Titans that wander around and eat humans on instinct.

Titan Shifters: Humans who possess the ability to transform into of the original nine Titans with special abilities, retaining their intelligence while in Titan form. Marley have the ability to turn eldians into titans using special fluid called “Spinal Fluid”. Injecting Spinal Fluid into Eldians makes them a Pure titan or an abnormal titan. Titan shifters are formed when an eldian, after turned into a titan, consumes another person who has one of the original nine titans.

The Titan Powers refers to the powers of the original titans: The Founding Titan: One of the Nine Titans with the ability to control other Titans and alter the memories of Eldians. The Nine Titans: The nine original Titans that possess unique powers and are passed down through Eldian bloodlines. The Coordinate: The power of the Founding Titan to control other Titans and the collective memories of the Eldian people.

Paradis Island consists of three walls. 1)Wall Maria: The outermost wall, whose breach by the Titans marks the beginning of the series. 2) Wall Rose: The middle wall, where much of the initial resettlement occurs after Wall Maria’s fall. 3) Wall Sina: The innermost wall, home to the royal family and the upper echelons of society. Outside of the outermost walls, the titans roams around.

Paradis Island consists various Military Branches to deal with titans and protect their island: 1) The Scout Regiment (Survey Corps): Soldiers who venture beyond the walls to gather intelligence on Titans and seek ways to reclaim lost land. 2) The Garrison: Troops tasked with defending the walls, towns, and cities from Titan attacks. 3) The Military Police Brigade: The elite unit that maintains order within the walls and protects the royal family, typically operating inside Wall Sina.

Omni-Directional Mobility Gear (ODM Gear): Equipment that allows the military to maneuver in three-dimensional space to fight Titans more effectively.

The Royal Government: The ruling authority within the Walls, which hides the true nature of the world from its eldians on the paradis island.

The Reiss Family: The true royal family that possesses the power of the Founding Titan.
