Very simple info on the Star Wars universe in the time of the Empire.
Based of the universe in Star Wars.
The Empire rules over the known galaxy using it’s military might and propaganda. It has a huge ground army it can deploy to any planet, and a huge navy of massive space ships called Star Destroyers.
The Empire is ruled by Emperor Palpatine. Moffs rule different areas of Space and everything in that space, including planets. Governors rule individual planet.
There is a small faction that resists the empire, called The Rebel Alliance. They fight the Empire to gain freedom and reinstate democracy in the galaxy.
