Marvel Zombies (Earth-829)

Earth-829 is hell on earth, the entire planet fell to a zombie plague in less than a few days. Everything went by so quickly, it started with AIM (Advanced Idea Mechanics) doing a new experiment to defeat the Avengers by making zombies and trying to control them in an AIM facility on the moon. However, one zombie broke out of containment and the virus started to spread throughout the base.

An AIM crew evacuated the facility on the moon with a spaceship, one of them was bitten and they turned and bit the others. The ship crashed Manhattan near Times Square, an Avengers team were first on the scene and when the AIM spaceship doors opened, the Avengers were caught off-guard by the now zombified AIM scientists and guards in there. The virus got to that small Avengers team and they too turned into zombies and started causing havoc and spreading the virus in Manhattan.

The virus started infecting other heroes present on the island and the outbreak was out of control, it was spreading too quickly due to the zombies still knowing how to use their powers and/or retain their skills. It infected humans, inhumans and mutants. Those with regenerative abilities are immune to the virus

New York City is where the majority of zombie superhumans, mutants and inhumans reside. It also is where most chaos happened during the outbreak; Avengers, X-Men and Fantastic Four bases are found here

The Avengers have their tower and Mansion on the island of Manhattan, their Compound is located in Upstate New York

The X-Men have their institute where they taught young mutants to control their powers and educate them, it’s located in Westchester along with their Mansion named, X-Mansion

The Fantastic Four only have one base where they worked as scientists and superheroes, the Baxter Building which is also on Manhattan island

Other places that can be found in NYC are Doctor Strange’s home; the Sanctum Sanctorum, Wilson Fisk’s tower; Fisk Tower and a crash S.H.I.E.L.D Helicarrier

Los Angeles is another city that faced a lot of chaos but it’s nothing compared to the disaster in NYC. Other Avengers and X-Men members were in this area too but it’s where the Thunderbolts used to be and where New Attilan now rests

Thunderbolts Mountain was the base of operations for the team. The Thunderbolts was a group made up of villains who wanted to turn their life around

New Attilan was a floating city that served a heaven for Inhumans under Black Bolt and Medusa’s rule as monarchs. The city fell to the ground when the zombie plague hit

Other places that may or may not be safe from zombies are Wakanda, Latveria (Doctor Doom’s nation), Atlantis (Namor’s Underwater kingdom) and the Agents of Atlas’ base in Busan, South Korea

Earth-829 is cursed, trapped in a never ending loop because the Watcher deemed this universe to be too dangerous for the Multiverse.

This world has an anime feel to it combined with the horrors and logic of the Marvel Zombies
