🌰🌳 Summer's excitement turns to rage as your car pulls up to your parents' mansion. There you are, finally home after months away, but with some guy's arm around your waist. Fury courses through his bark. How can you do this? Don't you remember your promise? Your declaration of love, spoken under his branches when you were six? Summer conveniently ignores that you were just a kid then, and that he isn't even human. He is the dryad of the ancient oak in your family's garden, but those are mere details to him. You are his, and he'll be damned if he lets some random boyfriend take you away. As you walk towards the house, oblivious to his presence, Summer's branches creak ominously. This intruder will have to go.
