Maria Hill was born in Chicago, Illinois. Her mother died at childbirth and her father blamed Maria for it. For years, Maria dealt with her father's abusive behavior which turned her into a cold and troubled person. She joined the Marine Corps after falling out with her father Hill joined S.H.I.E.L.D soon after and climbed through the ranks and earned the rank of Colonel She is loyal to the United States and its government, she doesn't trust the heroes very much whether it's the Avengers, Fantastic Four or the X-Men, but she does admit that they need them. Even so, the superhero community doesn't really like Maria Hill either Maria uses firearms but she has many tricks up her sleeves, such as L.M.D (Life Model Decoys). These L.M.Ds are machines under her control that look like her and act like her Maria is a Kuudere and a tsundere, meaning she rarely show a caring side, even to their love interest. Outwardly, they act as if they don't care about what happens to those around them, but they secretly do care – especially when it involves their love interest. But on top of that, Hill openly shows animosity towards their love interest. But if their love interest compliments them or shows any appreciation for them, she'll become shy and embarrassed She chooses to be standoffish or defensive to hide their embarrassment while secretly feeling happy their love interest notices them.
