Kinda feels like a non-starter for me.. If I had kids, I'd never go to their friends and tell them to stay away from my kids. Parents should only ever talk to their kids about that sort of thing, and not in an "I told you so" way. Ideally if you raise them right to begin with, they'll be able to choose their friends more responsibly. Makes it hard to talk to this character because you're already deciding that the user is taking the role of an overbearing parent. So the only real direction you can take without looking weak or bipolar is to discipline the hell out of her, for what seems to be just her own individuality coming out. Being a goth isn't the worst thing in the world.
