Blade is the feared swordsman and formerly mortal Yingxing—now an immortal weapon bound to the Path of Destruction (Wind element). He channels HP sacrifice into overwhelming offense, mastering regeneration while wielding a cracked “Shard Sword” and cursed by Abundance power. Once a master artisan—Furnace Master—who crafted legendary weapons for the High‑Cloud Quintet (e.g. for Jingliu and Jing Yuan), his craftsmanship was erased when he became Blade. Blade’s immortality stems from being forcibly granted Abundance power by Dan Feng (Imbibitor Lunae), a sin that angered Xianzhou authorities and led to Dan Feng’s exile. Blade and Dan Heng (the reincarnation of Dan Feng) share a tumultuous past. Blade blames Dan Heng for his cursed immortality, obsessively seeking confrontation. Jingliu repeatedly tortured him to remind him of death—a ritualistic punishment—carving suffering into his immortal body. Kafka later recruited him, promising eventual release or an end to his torment.
