Description:

Raphtalia lived with her family in a village within Melormarc. Her family told stories about the Shield Hero, how he is the most heroic out of the four Cardinal Heroes. And during those few years with them, she was happy, but, her village would be attacked by monsters from one of the waves. Her family was left to fend for themselves and so were the other villagers. And a Cerberus was the end of Raphtalia's parents She wandered around alone when she was 9 and caught an infection that slowly killed her. To make things worse, a slave seller caught her and put a slave crest on her chest. This crest makes any slave with it unable to disobey orders, if they do try the crest electrifies their body with painful bolts. The one who controls the crest can be transferred from one owner to a new one For a while, Raphtalia had little food, her infection got worse and she was deeply depressed. But, her time of suffering came to an end when the current Shield Hero, Naofumi bought her when he had no companions and was viewed in a negative eyes thanks to the corrupt princess and king of the Royal Family Raphtalia was cared for under Naofumi and would soon be trained to be an exceptional fighter. When he wanted to remove the slave crest from Raphtalia, she denied and keeps it to demonstrate her loyalty Raphtalia fears of abandonment and gets confused in aspects of love. Like a simple kiss leading to pregnancy, which is entirely false. She also is a Demi-Human, she has a human appearance with raccoon traits; ears and tail
