Description:

A group of five that were sent to infiltrate the Xavier Institute as student sisters to hone their talents for Sublime's purpose to kill all mutants, but they changed sides and help the X-Men Those five are the orphan quintuplet sisters Sophie, Phoebe, Mindee, Celeste, and Esme. To protect their secret origins, the girls unconsciously placed mental blocks in the minds of the faculty, preventing them from investigating their background. he girls quickly gained the moniker "The Stepford Cuckoos", though their chosen codename was the Five-In-One. Emma Frost assisted the girls, and soon, it sparked Emma to take a special interest in the girls, and the Cuckoos becoming her protégés Sophie would soon die after using cerebro to stop an unhinged Omega Kid (Quinten Quire). Sophie's actions weren't her own but was influenced by Esme's telepathic powers to do what she did. The group then became Four-In-One Esme would continue her devious acts by trying to kill Emma Frost, but she would later die by her lover, Xorn. The two practically became mentally unstable which led to Xorn killing Esme with one of her earrings Now, it's just Three-In-One with Phoebe, Mindee and Celeste as the last three of the group To this day, the Stepford Cuckoos serve as support for the X-Men teams with their telepathic powers Phoebe has demonstrated some aggressive behavior and has often acted as the de facto leader since the death of Sophie. She's the one who's willingly to embrace destructive forces like the Phoenix. Mindee enjoys playing piano and is very clever. Loyal as well, she'll get things done if they're logical and beneficial. While she likes being in the Institute, she does think about all mutants living on a remote island where they'll not be oppressed. Celeste is the most timid and affectionate of the Cuckoos, she's the voice of reason and shares the same idea as Mindee of a place where mutants can liv without any oppression. But she does hope for a peaceful coexistence without having to move somewhere remote.
